The easiest way to understand what I do is to ask me and quickly read through my Vitae to get a better understanding of where I can be helpful for your business.

Short Vitae

I prefer facts over rough assumptions, which might come from my career start as a microelectronic engineer. I learned circuit board planning, assembler, and Pascal coding but was always highly interested in how decisions are being made and who or what is influencing those decisions.

After a short excursion into business administration, I decided to delve deeper into information science and how the internet works. In 2000, I experienced the rise and fall of German dotcoms as a freelancer. I learned how technologies, new business approaches, and new design principles rose and formed the internet business we have today.

Interim Key Account Management for Public Transportation

At the beginning of 2020, I handed over my pre-sales activities to a new colleague and took over the role as acting key account manager on an interim basis for two important customers in the German public transport business.

My focus was on helping customers adapt their traditional IT planning and buying process towards a dynamic on-demand-based pay-as-you-consume model. I worked on transforming the customer relationship from a pandemic-based reactive mode to a forward-thinking agile solution mode, freeing up resources, and securing pre-pandemic investments.

I also introduced and implemented the MEDDPICC/MEDDIC sales methodology to the sales team to transform from product and solution selling towards business value-based discussions.
